The Celtics are featured on ESPN's Friday night NBA package, with some action from the New England college ranks available for viewing as well.
NBA: Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7 p.m., ESPN: The C's are nationally televised Friday with the first of a back-to-back home-and-home with the Sixers. The squads are jockeying for position in the Atlantic Division, each tied at 10-8 and in third place behind the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets. An ejection might have snapped Rajon Rondo's double-digit assist streak, but he's still averaging a ridiculous 12.8 on the season, which would be a historically good number for somebody not named John Stockton or Magic Johnson if he kept it up. Boston lost the first matchup between these two teams about a month ago.
